Subject: Take Back Your Time Day Dear Colleague: We are seeking potential panelists, participants and organizers for a teach-in/forum to be held as part of nationwide observances of TAKE BACK YOUR TIME DAY – October 24. We ask you to join us in crafting this important event. TAKE BACK YOUR TIME (www.timeday.org) is a non-partisan initiative to challenge the epidemic of overwork, over-scheduling and time famine that now threatens our health, our families and relationships, our communities and our environment. October 24 was chosen for TAKE BACK YOUR TIME DAY because by this date the average American has already worked as much as the average European works in an entire year! TAKE BACK YOUR TIME DAY is intended to initiate public discourse on the "time problem," specifically
+ The extent of overwork in America and its impacts on families, communities, our health, and the environment. We are looking for faculty and staff who would be willing to participate in Take Back Your Time Day as organizers and panelists. Please let us know if you might be interested in speaking about any of the following topics (and feel free to add your own ideas):
